Miss Sophie goes to the dentist

This little lady had her 2nd dentist appointment and acted so grown up it almost made me sad.  We walked away cavity free and with Sophie being proud for being told she is doing a really good job at taking care of her teeth!  I don't know where the time has gone, but with Dentist appointments, dancing class, working on the ranch, and all of our other chaos this little gal somewhere in it all grew up way to fast on me!

Ellie Jo's 18 Month Checkup

This little Chick of ours is growing perfectly!  At 18 months she speaks a lot more than we can believe. We love how she says Minnie Mouse and she LOVES Minnie Mouse.  She is crazily full of energy and of a temper.  She still uses a bottle and a pacifier, but we are heading into the beginning of breaking her of those habits, at least the bottle.  She loves her big sister and tries to copy most of what Sophie is doing.  However, she certainly doesn't take any crap from Sophie...Miss Ellie's temper can go from 0 to 100 before you can even blink.  At this point the temper is still cute ;).

We couldn't be any more in love with this little red head!  

Tinker Bell/ Captian Hook!

For the past month or so this has been Sophie's signature hairstyle...the "Tinker Bell"  A few times now she has also had to play Captain Hook with my head band as an eye patch! =)

Sophie Anne's first day of dancing! 

This amazing little rugrat of our has officially joined the dance crew!  Sophie Anne and her little friend Miss Kennedy are giving the Creative Movements dance class at The Vibe dance studio a roll.  Every Tuesday night for the next 9 months that is where we will be!  

Sophie LOVED her first day at dancing and can't wait to go back next week.

I am so excited for her recitals, she should have one in December and another one sometime in June!  Love this little gal and all that we get to watch her experience as she grows up!  What a beauty!

Labor Day

We planned a last minute bbq get together with family and friends for labor day.  Right before our guests showed up we spotted two very large owls in our large tree in front of the house.  Needless to say they were the topic of most of the first hour of the bbq.  We had a great time, but, I suck and didn't snap many pictures.  I did get one shot of Ellie Jo, mostly due to her following me around saying "CHEEEEEESE" when I had the camera in my hand!  This little gal melts my heart!
