Our little 9 month old.....

Our little Sophie Buga Boos has been up to lots!
She enjoyed her first apples (not in her little munchkin gidget gadget).  SHE LOVED IT!

When I let her have access to the plate of slices she thought she needed to keep 2 slices in her hands at all times!  She was mmmmmming away, in pure heaven!  As you could imagine she was a very sticky mess when I finally ended her fun!
The end result of the apple slices....she did a pretty good job at gobbling them up! =)
This little munchkin STILL thinks I am her personal jungle gym!  She is constantly crawling all over me!
We were in the process of playing when I took this picture!  We discovered the other day that if you take Sophie's picture then show her it she gets all sorts of happy!  She even begins to pose for the camera....smiling away!
 Playing with her daddy!
 She loves lots of attention!

So here is one for you Tessa, when we finally get around to family pictures, try getting both of my  kids to look at the camera and smile at the same time......
Couldn't work the magic there....and things got worse...if not more creepy! hahaha

.....oh but I still love them both!

A little side story!  The other night I was on the couch, Alex was on the floor in front of me.  I was running my fingers through his hair while we were watching t.v..  Sophie bugs comes crawling over, uses his arm to climb up and stand next to him.  She reaches up and grabs a big hand full of his hair and just yanks on it!  I'm like "whoa Sophie bugs, no we are doing it soft, be soft!"  She let's go drops her little chin to her chest.  Raises both her shoulders (like a shrug) and downs the corners of her mouth, and has the cutest look on her face saying "what no body told me"!!! Hahaha it was hilarious!  Such trouble wrapped in such innocence!  We are in for it!
On to our latest and most recent news!  I FINALLY got Sophie Bugs her first toothbrush!  Oh man this kids seemed in heaven, before we opened it.  She pushed it and her toothpaste around for quite awhile.  Kept sitting up and holding them in her little fingers!  I thought she would love it when I opened it up for her.  So last night after dinner we went in to brush her teeth for the first time.  She didn't want anything to do with the toothbrush!  It took me 5 minutes of so to get her to hold it for this picture!  Stinker!
Here we are brushing her teeth!  I don't think she knew what to think about this!  =)

It was successful, we'll just say that!  It is weird that we are already to this stage in her little life!

One last mark in this post, Sophie Bugs had her 9 month wellness check up yesterday! She is growing perfectly!  Her 9 month stats:
Weight 17.10 pounds (45%)
Height 27 1/2 inches (50%)
and Head 44.5 cm (55%)

At the Ranch....

We walked back to the arena the other day for a little outing!  This little girl was sober until she saw her Daddy riding a horse in the arena.  She LOVED it!  She was smiling and somewhat laughing.  She even reached for and pulled herself to the top rail of the fence.  Our little cowgirl!

Tooo cute!

This picture is from a while back.  But, it is the first picture of Sophie Bugs on a horse!  She is riding shot gun to her Grandma Robertson!

Nap time...play time....

I think our little Sophie Bugs is going through a growth spurt...she seems to be sleeping through the night for the most part and taking long naps during the day!
She was so tuckered out here she just dozed off while sitting in her high chair! =)
Nap time in her crib, she was snuggling with "vegas bear"!
Of course, there are still times when she needs a nap but refuses!  Lately I've been able to put her in her crib and she'll put herself down for a nap....this was NOT one of those times.  Poor thing looks like I threw her in the slammer!
Her crying...scratch that SCREAMING eventually stopped and I thought that she had finally fell asleep! WRONGO...she was standing up in her crib trying to chew on the wood, just as happy as could be!

On to the spoiled section of Sophie's life....the McMillens gave her this pop up tent for Christmas.  For the most part it stays folded up and put away(we are lacking space for all of her toys), but when we get it out for her to play with she doesn't quite know what to think!
She attempts to crawl around....usually crawling up the side of the tent which makes the tent turn to it's side, making her unable to just crawl out!
This picture is taken from up above her, as you can see she got herself STUCK, which results in a very upset little monkey butt!!  Let's just say the tent may not be her favorite new toy hahaha!
