Part 2!

For Easter Day we had the Robertson Family at our house for a little early dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt just for Sophie Anne! (Ellie Jo got all of her money eggs in her basket)  Here is Bugs with her favorite Auntie on her Daddy's side of the Family! =)
And again!  I was planning to get one of the girls with their Robertson Grandparents but by the time we all settled back in the house together (Fran and Ellie Jo were in the house during the egg hunt) Bugs konked out...so soon I will get a pick of them all!
Bugs on her egg hunt!  Her Aunt Mary brought her some fun little bunny ears for the occasion! She was a champ at the egg hunt this year!

Alex had to point out many of the eggs for her...she was too busy running around and enjoying the outdoors!
 A little "tree hugging"!
She needed to go down the slide to get to that little blue egg at the bottom! haha

We also played a little catch while it was so nice out, and I had an indoor babytender for Ellie Jo.  This picture is actually Bong (Alex Sr.) and Mary.  I guess Bongo never taught Mary how to play ball...never even played catch with her.  So Alex made sure to mend that tear in Mary's heart! gtm

Easter Weekend Part 1!

Sophie Anne helping her Daddy with ranch work!
Bugs and I took Ellie Jo for her 1st little walk!

Ellie Jo getting ready for her 2 week check up (actually 10 days old)  Her stats:8 lbs 4 oz (45%) 21 1/4" (90%) and her head measured at 14" (55%)  She is perfect in every way!  She had her 2nd PKU test and like her big sister only cried for about 20 seconds, then just had a grump face!
Ellie Jo had her first bottle experience!  She gulped down the milk! =)
On to Saturday night...who needs to decorate Easter Eggs when......
 ...you can decorate a Bugaboos?!?!?
Ellie Jo worked really hard on her Easter Egg!
We didn't have that much fun coloring eggs....Sophie kept destroying the eggs.  Her idea of coloring them was picking them up and chucking them in to the dye...I must say she has great aim! =)  We had a few broken, and cracked eggs but oh well!

I will have to get pictures of the girls with their eggs!

AND....Easter Day morning!  Sophie was excited to see her Easter basket!  She got a Melissa and Doug Puzzle, a slinky, a cute little outfit, a beach ball, some candy, and socks.  Ellie Jo got 2 little outfits, socks, a toy and $5 in quarters (Sophie Anne has to find her $5 in the Easter Egg hunt we are doing later today!)....Both girls got Kong Fu Panda 2!

Later today we are having an Easter Day lunch with the Robertson Clan and an Easter Egg hunt....so post number 2 will be coming.  We hope everyone has a great Easter!  Miss you all!

Miss Ellie Jo makes her debut!!

Bright and early Monday, March 18, 2013....we showed up at the hospital at 5:30 am for paper work and to get prepped for my c-section.
At 8:08 am our little Ellie Jo made it in to this world.  I swear the sweetest thing in the World is to hear that first cry of your baby!  I cried as soon as I heard her!

She was perfect in every way!  Weighing in at 7 pounds 14 ounces, she was 20 3/4 inches long and absolutely beautiful!  I have to add in that we, at this point, have a little red head! =)

Look who made it to the show! GTM  Alex was wonderful the entire process!  I think he was a little nervous but in the end was glad he was there for our 2nd little rugrat's arrival, and I know I was very glad he was there too! =)

Meeting Aunt Mary!  Mary actually showed up at the hospital at 5:30 am with us, I was hoping to have her in for the c-section, but in the end they only allowed me to have 1 person, and Alex wasn't getting let off the hook! =)
 Meeting Grandma Fran.
Meeting Grandma Cheryl!  My Mom and Dad came up the Saturday before and stayed for an entire week!
 The Grandmas!
Here is little Ellie Jo saying hi to her big sister Sophie Anne!  Sophie wasn't too sure about what was going on at first.

But, she eventually lightened up and I think figured out we had our little baby here.  She has been so cute the last week, she doesn't bother Ellie Jo, but every once in a while will point and say Baby, or go rub Ellie Jo's head or give her a kiss!  She is a great big sister already!  I love my girls more than anything!
 Meeting Grandpa Terry!

 Me and my girls!
 Our first family picture! =)
 Now just some random pictures....

Meeting cousin Charlie and Max....Max was feeling a little off so he kept his distance from Ellie Jo.

Bugaboos wasn't too sure about me at the hospital!  I had, once again, side effects of one of the drugs I was given for the c-section.  It made me itchy all over, and so I was very red and almost raw from rubbing and scratching....yeah I didn't look too good.  Plus I spent the first day throwing up...well nothing since I hadn't eaten since midnight the night before.  So Monday was a pretty scary day for me, and Bugs didn't want much to do with me! =)  I cried a little but she eventually came around! =)

Ellie Jo's first bath...of course she cried like most babies do!

Her first outfit from home.  These little pajamas are so cute, they have a strawberry on the bum, they were one of many outfits that my Mom spoiled her with!
Bugaboos explored a lot at the hospital.  She especially loved getting in the cabinets!

Our sweet little Ellie Jo and I got to go home Wednesday, we even got released at a decent time and were actually home by 10:30/11am.  This was Ellie Jo's going home outfit that her Grandma Fran bought her!  So adorable!
Going HOME! =)  Alex bought Ellie Jo a little bear....so Sophie Anne has her Vegas Bear and Ellie Jo has her, not named yet, bear! =) He is such an amazing Daddy!
Bugs and Ellie Jo first seeing each other at home!

Ellie Jo's first bath at home!

Our first outing!  We went to run a few errands with Grandpa Terry and Grandma Cheryl!  I think taking this picture is when it really hit me that...WOA I HAVE TWO DAUGHTERS!  So crazy to think about still!

The first couple of days we tried to just relax...I think Bugs did a great job of it! haha

My girls and my Mom and Dad!
Fast forward to today 3/27.  Yesterday Bugaboos and I set up the play mat for Ellie Jo!  Bugs thought it was awesome, and she has her play time with it too!
Ellie Jo chilling on her play mat!
We worked on some tummy time....she did okay with it, but definitely got her screaming in too!
My oldest beauty!  This kid loves getting her picture taken.....and taking pictures! =)  This shot was almost a self shot because she was trying to steal the camera from me as I snapped the picture!
 My girls chilling together!
And last, Ellie Jo's little hat fell over her eyes as she was sleeping, isn't that soooo cute! =)
