Our little Artists!!

Lately I have been trying to find new fun things for Sophie that get her away from the t.v.  I bought these water colors a while back and she has been LOVING them!  Today Miss Ellie Jo decided to join in on the fun.  These two are so stinking cute playing together...They had a blast painting pictures, well mostly  mixing the colors in the palate! =)  

I do believe we have two little artists on our hands...their Grandma Fran will be soooo proud!

A Rarity!

I put both girls in their bed....and told them it was time for a nap....and then listened for 20 minutes or so to them playing together.  I thought I had lost the war on nap time.....then I walked in to this sweet peaceful picture!  Oh how I am in love with these two rugrats!  

Girl's/Cowbowdee Boise Trip!

My mom, Steph and kids, and Tiff met up with me and the girls in Boise for a weekend getaway.  Not much to say other than we ate yummy food, and lots of it!  Went swimming too much, shopped WAY too, and did a little hair in our makeshift beauty salon(room).  It was a great weekend and we had so much fun that the time flew by way too quickly!

WInter Wonderland!

 It has been snowing crazily...non stop....since late Wed. early Thu.  It just keeps coming down! I have to show my family back in Utah.  Out my front door.

 Our patio.  Yeah you can't see space between the ground and the bottom of the swing. ( a little of that pile is from shoveling yesterday)

 Yesterday I shoveled most of the grass between my house and the garage (partly for a walkway, and partly so it doesn't all melt and fill our septic, not looking forward to possible backing up...got to love old homes)  I also shoveled the walkway out to where we park and shoveled the entire parking spot down to the gravel (more or less).  So from 3-4pm yesterday and on this is how much snow went onto my freshly shoveled areas.

 You can see how high the mounds are from the bottom of the house.

 Just as I was heading back in I noticed the extra height the cab of Alex's truck has on it.  I measured in one spot on the grass and it was 15" deep.  Not sure if that would be an accurate measurement or not, but it's an idea! =)

 Needless to say me and this cutie.....and......

this cutie....will be staying in the house watching movies and playing the entire day.  Minus a trip to Costco because we have fabulous timing for running out of milk! =)

Playing in the snow!

Winter has finally hit us!  It has been snowing non-stop for two days.  I went out this afternoon and shoveled a walkway to where we park our vehicles and with in about an hour the walk way was covered.  It is much needed snow so we are happy to deal with it!

We decided to take the girls out to let them play a little.  I got them very bundled up and we hit the snow pack outside the back door for a few minutes then headed back to help Alex and Grandma Fran with chores.  

We had a little issue with Bugaboos putting on her snow gloves......she wouldn't.  We finally won the battle, but they didn't stay on too well (a little too big) and before long her hands were froze and she was a very un-happy little girl.  While she was having a break down I hauled her and Ellie back to the house.  She is all smiles now, snuggled in two blankets with a cup of hot chocolate.  That girl definitely is mine...I am not fond of the cold either! =)

We'll see if we make it back out to play in the snow in the next day or two. =)

This little rascal loves to dance...LOVES it!  It is hard to catch her on film, because as soon as she sees the camera she stops and poses. =)

Okay so both of them have to jump in front of the camera....this round Bugs felt it necessary to pull faces...Got to love these two! =)
