12 month check up and pictures by Tessa!

I just had to share some of the pictures Tessa took of Sophie Anne.  These would be her 1 year pictures, that were actually taken at around 11 months.

 These two are just tooooo cute together!

 So today, 1 week after her birthday, we finally made it to her 12 month Check Up!  She did awesome, but I will say this was the maddest she has gotten at the nurse giving her the shots.  She was loving playing and exploring the room we were in.  She kept moving the stool, climbing up it, then down, then moving it more...then started to hang on to the cabinet handles trying to open them.  She went back and forth between playing with the stool to playing with the cabinets for like 15 minutes.  It was funny to watch her.

So we have a tall and skinny baby girl! 

She had her chicken pox vaccination, her MMR, and her Hepatitis A today!  1 more round at 16-18 months and she is done with shots for awhile!

What's been going on....

 Bugaboos is in training to become a "KettleWoman"!

 Don't even ask about Alex's grin.  I'm not sure why he can't smile decent for a picture...oh well, Bugs makes the picture worth looking at! =)

 We spent a good chunk of yesterday at a Cutting Show watching Fran and some other gals we know.  Bugaboos LOVED it! 

She hung out in her stroller some and Fran's horse and her became close friends....they had a good discussion.  I think the horse liked Sophie lots....until she tried poking her finger in his nose! =)

So today we spent most of the day knocking down the fence around our house.  We are/were in desperate need of getting rid of it and getting a new fence up.  Hopefully it doesn't take us too long to get the funds to put a new one up!  Anyway, it was a beautiful day and Bugaboos LOVED running around the yard while Alex and I worked on destroying the pre-existing fence.  She did show us two times why we definitely need to put up a new fence...little turd made a beeline twice for Tumalo Road. Of course, we were two steps away from her so she didn't get far at all.....but she likes to snoop, investigate, explore a little too much!  So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE new fence come soon! lol

Yesterday Sophie Anne and I hiked Pilot Butte! 

Soooo......I hiked my butt off!  And.......

 It was really nice, I believe I'll do it again.  Even tho I'm extremely sore today! =)

A NEW Cowgirl outfit!

 This cute cute CUTE outfit is courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa, and Tessa and Chad!  Mom and dad gave Sophie these adorable Wranglers and Wrangler Levi Jacket, and T and Chad gave her the cutest onesies....so yeah I had to dress her up and show her off!  Oh yeah and the bow is one Ash made and sent up!  You all spoil Bugaboos rotten!  Thanks for loving her soo much!

Catch up time....

 Bugaboos is a stickler at exercising both her ponies almost everyday!

 She has learned how to color pretty good!  See that heart she did! j/k

 Bugs, Tucson, and Bug's new friend Addison!  These three can be a lot of trouble but also a hoot! Later on this night all three of them enjoyed a dance party!  (if that's what you would call what they were doing)

 Yesterday, Sat. April 7th, we took Bugaboos to two Easter Egg hunts in Redmond.  She didn't know what to do, even tho we have been practicing for the last couple of weeks!  Once she got a hold of one egg she was satisfied!  So, of course, Heather Jo stepped in!  You all know me.....Bugaboos got a lot of eggs! Alex was making fun of me because of my hustle on the hunt!  I guess I was the first person out to the eggs when they rang the bell!  And, I definitely made sure Bugs got her fair share!  Of course, at both Egg hunts we gave her candy to some other kids....so I can justify scooping up too many eggs! =)

 Her first loot!  Yes she has a home made Easter basket!  haha don't make fun of it...it was all my doing! 

 At the first hunt she scored a prize egg and got a set of books!  She LOVES them!

 The Easter Bunny was at the second hunt....and if you can zoom in you can tell how thrilled Bugs was at getting to see the Easter Bunny!

 Her loot from the second hunt!  She scored a prize egg here too but it was a chocolate bunny, so we gave the ticket for it away.

 Later that night we colored Easter Eggs!  Alex's folks came over and ohhhh what a treat!  Bugaboos had a dance party with them too!  I don't think I have ever laughed so hard! (not sure if it was with them or at them! =) )

 Then we moved on to coloring Eggs!  I kept Bugaboos far away, poor thing, but to be honest I just didn't trust her!  I colored an egg just for her!

 Alex's egg(I did), My egg (Alex did), and Bugaboos egg (I did).  Of course, we did other eggs but I just snapped a shot of these three

 As you can see, she was still a happy girl even tho she didn't get to get her hands dirty!

And on to today!

  HAPPY EASTER!!!

 The Easter Bunny sure did find Bugaboos!  

The Easter bunny found me and Alex also.  He got a rodeo shirt and some goods, and I got new socks, a movie, movie tickets, candy, pepsi, gloves to do yard work, and my favorite cake mix. NOTE: you can tell who the Easter Bunny likes best in our family....and it isn't Alex! hahaha

She enjoyed everything in the basket!  This little kiddo will pry have to biggest spoiled day ever today! We are celebrating Easter and her 1st Birthday tonight with the Robertsons....so another post to come SOON!
