Bugaboos Turns 3!!!

This year for our sweet little ones 3rd birthday we decided to host her "friend" party on Saturday April 12.  We did throw a little family party on her actual birthday and also celebrated her Aunt Mary's Birthday, which is 2 days before Sophie's.
Our Birthday Girl started her day off with opening up a couple of presents.

She LOVED her apron and cake/frosting mix.  She tried to get to use those items the next few days.  She even got out all of our needs to make them, hand mixer, bowl, cupcake pan.  Sadly I wouldn't let her make them. =(
We did a quick little photo shoot of our 3 year old on her birthday!

Of course, Miss Gingaroos had to get in the mix.
The early morning fun tuckered our birthday girl out...this actually turned out to be a much needed pre-party nap.
That evening Mary, Charlie, Grandma Fran, and Grandpa Bongo came over for a party.  Miss Gingaroos just loves having her picture taken.
This was our birthday girl's cake.  It WAS the most delicious cake ever!

 Out little cheeser again.

Bugs got spoiled with a couple of books and some $$ for her piggy bank.

Bright and early Friday morning(day before "friend" party) I started up Sophie's Birthday Cupcakes.  Both girls were still sleeping.  Just as I went to turn on the mixer I heard a little foot stomp and "hey...what do?"!  Haha I was in so much trouble for started cupcakes with out my big girl.  She hurry and got her apron on and joined in on the baking, well she only lasted 5 minutes maybe.

We got her Scooby Doo cupcakes all ready and started getting our normal routine for them morning when my parents arrived at our house for a quick weekend trip.  WE were sooo SURPRISED and I couldn't stop grinning all weekend because two sisters, Stephanie and Tiffany, and Stephanie's kiddos Brooke, Callie Jo, and Bowdee had snuck in my folks rig and showed up un-announced.  It was the best surprise of the weekend.  I was in heaven with my folks and sisters and Sophie and Ellie had the best weekend running around with the Utah cousins.
Party day arrived and I couldn't have been more happy.  I am not too creative so thank you pinterest!  Sophie is sooo obsessed with Scooby Doo so we went with a Scooby Doo theme!

We ate pizza, veggies, and birthday cupcakes.  I think everyone was satisfied!

It was so windy that even with Kacie's ( 1 of our Ranch Girls) help we couldn't get the candle lit...so we had to just pretend that Bug's got to blow our her candle! =)
We made the cutest tie dyed cupcakes with a Scooby Doo Fondant name tag on them...but I, for whatever reason, didn't snap a picture of them. =(

Sophie Bug's was sooo spoiled by everyone with gifts!  She was one happy girl!

Her final surprise was from her Auntie Mary...spoiled little girl got this beautiful yellow Mini Cooper!  She did and will have a blast with that thing....hopefully her driving skills improve tho!

We all were so tuckered out by the end of the day.  I wanted to get a picture of all the cousins and their slumber party.....but that didn't happen.  But, we did snap one of these two sisters just a snuggling!  Stephanie said we'd better document the sweet moment of them not fighting! =)

It was an amazing weekend!  Alex and I have the best families and our girls couldn't be more spoiled by all of them!

I am still trying to cope with the fact that my big girl is 3!
