LIfe lately!

Not really much going on with us...same stuff another day! =)  We've been spending a lot of time on the ranch with Alex doing chores.  We finally put Ellie Jo in the stroller like a big girl and she loved it!
Sophie Anne doesn't usually stay fastened in the stroller for too long.  She LOVES to help grain the steer (we are finishing to have butchered) and helping move irrigation, so she is usually running wild on the ranch. (I'll have to get pictures of her graining the steer, she is such a hard worker)
Our Lil Miss Ellie Jo turned 5 months old yesterday! I seriously don't know where the time has gone.  I finally broke down and bought her baby food, but I am still refusing to actually feed it to her.  I am truly blessed my girls are growing up strong and healthy, but sad it is happening so fast! =)  So a little update on our 5 month old..... She finally quit being lazy and has mastered tummy time.  She has went from just rolling over to rolling EVERYWHERE! I forgot how freaky this stage is....when you lay the kid down leave the room and come back to a missing kid!!  She literally goes from one end of the room to the other and even somehow maneuvers around corners....busy little girl!  She gets VERY un happy when she gets herself stuck up against something and can't move.  She is super giggly now, she cracks up at her sister's actions all of the time.  She smiles ALL THE TIME!! This girl has the biggest grin you've ever seen on a little one and is so quick to smile at anyone!   Her hair is still super red (like Grandma Gaye's), it so beautiful!  We are always getting compliments on our little Red Head!  She has figured out how to plug herself with her binki, although doesn't have it down to an exact art yet.  She watches everyone and everything like a hawk, takes in everything!  She seriously couldn't be more perfect!  We love her and Bugaboos so much!
She has also been having lots of fun in her walker! Her feet finally touch the ground (barely) but she still just chills in it with out moving.  I think she really just loves being up right and not on the ground on her belly.
This wild child has been doing all her normal shananigans!  Emptying diaper bags, re-"organizing" dvds, re-"organizing" the pantry, helping herself to chips(the other day I went outside and came in to find her in bed with the bag of chips, she was impressed with herself), and lots of other trouble.  She is still a huge help with her little sister!  She has started soothing El when El is crying, by getting her binki, blanket, a toy, whatever she can.  She jumps to grab the burp rag and wipe El's mouth if El spits up.  She brings me diapers and wipes for herself and for El when she needs her diaper changed.(I guess she figures they should both feel fresh) =)  She is starting to talk more, but still talks 90% of the time in her "Bugaboos" language.    I have come to the conclusion this is just because she doesn't want us to be able to understand her, especially when she is hollering at us! =)

Picture above:  She got left in the house this particular day so she wouldn't get in the way of a project Alex and I had going on right outside of the house....and this is how we found her.  She totally killed over on the desk chair! =)  Little cutie!
Alex has been weekend rodeoing lately. It has been so weird having him gone on weekends, and makes me wonder how in the World we survived with out him when he was rodeoing full time!  If he goes full time next year it will be interesting for us to adapt back to it.  Anyway, this past weekend while he was gone Soph and I baked up some yummy scones!  I loved her in her little apron trying to get her fingers in the flour!
 She couldn't resist touching everything!
The finished product!  They were pretty good for saying it was our first time to bake scones from scratch!  It will be so much fun with both my girls can play in the kitchen with me! (although that time doesn't need to come TOO fast!)

Well that was a weird random post...but now I am caught up with my pictures off my camera!
