The girls and I snuck away to Utah for 2 weeks......

With the purchase of our bale wagon came a trip to Oregon by my parents.  If you don't know my Dad...well he is pretty much the MAN for fixing farm equipment, so of course him and mom needed an excuse to come see their Oregon grandbabies right..... haha  Anyhow, the girls and I loaded up and headed back to Utah with the folks for a mini Summer trip!  Anyone from Utah knows July is crazy busy and fun down there so I was pretty excited to get in on some of the Utah Celebrations.
Our first night in Utah we had a Birthday BBQ for my Dad....Sophie Anne and Miss Ellie Jo didn't skip a beat with being away from my family for a month or so....they were right back in the action.
My beautiful sister Steph and Miss El.
After eating all of the kids decided to "roll" down the hill....Bugs did do it a time or two, but of course I didn't get it in a picture.

Miss Brooke Lynn and Miss Callie Jo (below)  were soo much help with all of the little ones!

Miss Callie and Tykeroni.....I love my nieces and nephews more than words can say....toooo toooo toooo cute!
Tykeroni and Gingaroos....these two are almost 2 months apart to the day!  It is crazy how much difference 2 months makes when they are little rugrats.
This was Gingaroos first real grass experience.  She didn't mind it at all, but did have a "what the heck" look a time or 2.
A couple days in to our trip was the annual Nephi City 4th of July celebration.  My sisters Rachelle and Stephanie basically whisked Bugs away and spoiled her rotten most of the day....with rides, snowcones, and too much fun! =)  All the kiddos were in heaven with their snowcones!
Rachelle and Miss Bugaboos.

Bugs' first round at the fish pond.  She definitely did NOT know what to think.  She wouldn't touch the fishing pole at all....
Even the girls, Brooke and Addi, couldn't help get her hyped up.
Then she got her prizes and....

Skipped in line with Stephanie for round two.. Like I said she was totally spoiled by these 2 aunties that day! =) I have such loving and amazing sisters!

Miss Gingaroos spent what time she wasn't being spoiled with cuddles, in her seat playing with her toys.  Next year(if we make it down there)  she just may get in on some of the action.
Callie Jo and Bugs on the swan ride.
Then Addi and Bugs took a turn!
That afternoon, before fireworks, we sent Tiff and David for some KFC and we rode up the canyon for a little picnic. (Me and Girls, Mom and Dad, Tessa and Family, Stephanie and Family, and Tifferdoodle and Davie)

Bugs and Cowbowdeeman are the TWO BEST FRIENDS!  They love playing together and getting in to trouble together too!

Our sweet little Callie Jo seriously is the best babytender....she loves the babes and is such a big help!
As is Brooke.....I love watching my sister's kids with mine....cousins are the best thing ever!
Me and my big girl at Devil's Kitchen! (Miss El hung back at the picnic spot with Grams)

I think these two drank 4 gallons of water each.  They really enjoyed getting the water out of the cooler....goofy kids!
We found this tree that had a hump and the kids decided it made a pretty good horse.  So they all took turns going for a "ride".

Our sweet little Ellie Jo! (I really feel bad most of her pictures are her in her carseat....with time that'll change....I'll be chasing her like crazy like I have to her big sis)

I think this little girl was pretty tuckered out this night.  I giggled when I saw the water ring up around her thighs...I thought for sure she would be one unhappy girl when she woke with her legs stuck.  But, somehow through the night she worked her way out of the ring.
 Just chilling with the family

Okay we were torturing Ellie Jo....but her giggles are to die for....I am so in love!
The girls and I with our Tifferdoodle.
This girl can not resist jumping on beds....little stinker!

Sizzler night: ( I know I am jumping around sorry)  The Saturday after the 4th some of us gals when on a shopping spree and later met up with other members of the family for some Sizzlers.  After Dinner my Dad made sure to get Bugs her dessert....
I think she liked it! =)
Gingaroos chilled out in her seat through  dinner...
 Me and my girls!
Later that night we had an outdoor movie at my parent's house.  We even made popcorn and had little bags to put it in...Let's just say Sophie Anne was in pure HEAVEN!  I was in charge of the popcorn (we went old school style and popped it on the stove top) and when I FINALLY got out to watch the movie I slid in by Sophie and asked her "is this so cool or what" she didn't utter a word or even look at me...she just handed me her empty popcorn bag! =)  I asked if she wanted more and she finally looked at me and said "mo" and went back to eyes glued on the screen.....like I said pure heaven.

My sister Stephanie celebrated her (cough) 30th (cough cough) birthday while we were down there too.  Her hubby surprised her with a party which included a huge water slide.  Sophie was pretty excited to play in the water.  That is her, Callie Jo, and me going down the slide.
Ture to the "mean" mom I am I took her back up and shoved her down by herself...no worries she wasn't harmed...haha she had a blast!
Gingaroos was well entertained by her Aunties Tessa and Rachelle, and of course the Tykeroni.
They had a little kiddie pool set up.... the kids decided quickly that it was more fun to bounce on the edge then to actually play in the water!
Regardless of that mug, Bugs had a lot of fun!
So much fun, in fact, she got tuckered out and had a little nap.
After the nap it was swing, sand pile and trampoline time.

Yeah I got in on the action!  It was a hoot to jump with Sophie and Bowdee...those two crack me up!

The following Monday Stephanie and her girls along with me and my girls, and Miss Kayslee went to Taylees Salon for mini pedis.  This was Sophie's 1st official pedi!  She held still well, but in the end her polish was smeared quickly...oh well...
 Mine and Bugs' toesies!
We went for a treat afterwards...of course!  Look at these crazies!  Kayslee(in the back) didn't want in on any of the craziness!
A short insert story....when the girls first got their suckers I heard Callie Jo and Brooke giggling and one of them say "she likes it".  I turned just in time to catch Miss Brooke Lynn letting Ellie Jo lick the powder sucker....Little Stinks!  =)
Another tuckered out Bugaboos...I feel like we never stop when we are in Utah, and Sophie definitely plays with her cousins A LOT!
We were also lucky enough to be in Utah during the Ute Stampede.  I haven't missed 1 stampede yet and hope to keep it that way.  We woke up early the Thursday of the rodeo and went to Stephanie's mother in law's house to watch them run the horses....

 The kids loved it!
That afternoon during the horse parade, Sophie and I snuck over to 7-Eleven for a free slurpee(since the date was 7-11)  This was Sophie's first slurpee....haha and it cracks me up that she posed like she was in to something she shouldn't have been!
After the parade we went to One Man Band for some grub.......

Then off to the City of Fun Carnival!  I conned David my brother in law in to riding the rides with Bugs so I could just watch and take pictures.
I'll be honest...I don't know who loved the rides more, Sophie or David!

Our Soph sure does love the rides....
and Miss El was not happy she was too short for them all! gtm
Once she got out of her seat she enjoyed all the music and lights going on....
She was wide eyed from then on staring at any light she could see.

Visting my Grandma Jean!  It warms my heart to see my kids with their Great Grandparents.  Both of my Grandmas could just talk to Ellie Jo and get giggles!  Loved it!

The big parade on Friday of the Rodeo!

Sophie wasn't sure what she was in for....
but figured out quick that she could snag up some candy if she payed attention.

Once again I conned David in to doing all the work so I could snap pictures! =)
Friday is my families usual night to go to the rodeo together!  I love love love it!  Bugs got a new back pack while we were in Utah(see the princess one in the background), which she loves, and had it all packed up for the rodeo...including herself an apple to munch on!  Haha I love this kid!

I had lots of help with my girls during the rodeo.
Even if my family didn't want to help!  Bugs kept harassing Tiff and David!
My brother in law Trenton kept Ellie Jo happy during the rodeo.

My girls and I at Ellie Jo's 1st Ute Stampede Rodeo!
As soon as the fireworks started Sophie freaked out and grabbed David's arm to hide.  It didn't take her long to notice grandma sitting a few seats away and she ended up there instead of with David.  She must just not feel safe with David! gtm

Ellie Jo wasn't too sure about the fireworks...

But as soon as her ears were covered she seemed to enjoy them.
We hit one more round of rides that night and I just had to snap a picture of Sophie riding the motorcycle!  Notice how her feet are!  haha this girl is crazy!

The Monday after the rodeo the girls and I headed back home, stopping and picking Alex up in Nampa Idaho.  Our Utah trip was so much fun, went by too fast, but yet it is wonderful to be back home and back to the normal crazy ranch world.
