Well we were officially home for 1 week before we loaded up and headed back to Utah for a few days. Too much driving in too little time if you ask me, but I do love getting back to Utah! =) Of course our little angel spent her week making messes, sassing, and getting into lots of trouble. She even held of walking until we went back to Utah so Alex STILL missed her first steps! So a few milestones of our baby girl, I've been bad about documenting them. She now officially walks as of March 10th..ish. Her and Bowdee man both get a few steps in before falling to the floor. Bowdee, of course, is hightailing it better than Sophie, but before long they will both be EVERYWHERE!! Sophie is now up to around 10 steps and getting better and better each day! She loves her treats....ANY kind of treat! She could eat all day long. She learned how to drink out of a straw....which resulted in her first taste of pepsi! She is just like her mommy and quite enjoyed it, her daddy isn't to thrilled about that. She is started teething AGAIN, working on her top two front teeth. The teeth are taking their sweet time, making her a very moody little one. She really picked up on waving goodbye, especially when we would say goodnight to everyone. She shakes her head from side to side saying no no no no, and sometimes even shakes her finger at you at the same time. She definitely back talks, but it is still super cute! (it wont be in a year or so I am sure) She walks around on her knees ALOT! It is the cutest thing, it is almost like a skip on her knees. She LOVES playing with all her cousins, I am not sure how much she likes home because they are not here! =) Her most recent Bugaboos habit is holding her binki off to the side of her mouth(which she has always done), while sticking her tongue out the other side of her mouth! I am trying really hard to snap a picture of it, but so far NO luck! Anyway, on the the good stuff....snapshots for the past couple of weeks.......
The weather in Utah was so nice that the some of the kiddos and I took a walk! The top funny story from the walk was those two little ones stuck in the stroller. Bowdee man, being a typical man, stuck his thumb in his mouth and dozed off.....all of the sudden he starts freaking out. So I stopped and went around to the front of the stroller to see what was wrong. Sophie Bugs, being a typical girl, couldn't hold still and was trying to sit up, using Bowdee's face as leverage for her elbow to push up! =) Poor little Bowdee man.
Bugaboos fell in love with the girls' little toy strollers! Between them and Mac's little walking toy, Sophie learned to navigate around mom and dad's house really well.
These two little rugrats remained the double trouble kind. They follow each other around finding any kind of mischief they can to get in to!
I just love my bugs....
We had been watching the 2nd video I had put together of Bugaboo's before this picture was snapped. Miss Brooke got upset because "this video is like all about Sophie....it's like....Sophie is the star!" Imagine that quote with a little attitude! haha SO we snapped this picture for the blog and the next video.
Bugaboos having a little cuddle time with Tifferdoodle!
Tifferdoodle and I made a couple of pies! And this one sure enjoyed them!
Steph and her kiddos, along with me and Bugs, took a walk to the park on a sunny day! Her little family!
Bugaboos had fallen asleep on the walk so I woke her up to play....it took awhile for her to get happy. GRUMPY!!
She didn't like the swing at all! At lease until she figured out Bowdee was swinging next to her and he wasn't crying! =)
The kiddos and I!
She went down the slide with Cals a couple of times and me a couple of times. She began to enjoy it!
These two just make me SMILE!! =)
The park tuckered this one out! Tessa and Chad came for a visit and it was rather late, so I told T she could wake Sophie up! Well.....
...she tried to....but as you can see Bugs didn't want to wake up! =)
... and we had to return home!
